Ayurveda is the ancient "Science of Life", one of the oldest forms of health care in the world. It is Holistic Science that places great emphasis on prevention and aims at bringing about maintaining Harmony of the Body, Mind and Consciousness. One of the most unique aspects of Ayurveda is its Cleaning and Rejuvenating treatment, according to the Prakriti (constitution of the body / mind) of each individual as a whole.
Individually prepared herbal massage oil to relax the mind, break up impurities, and stimulate both the arterial and lymphatic circulation. It enhances the ability of nutrients to reach starved cells and allows removal of stagnant waste and reduces edema.
Chakra Healing and Balancing
Chakras are junction points between consciousness and physiology. These energy centers govern the emotional and physical functions of the body. This gentle yet powerful treatment helps get grounded and reconnects with the healing energy from the earth and the cosmic / universe. This balancing increases relaxation and energy while reducing mental stress, emotional imbalance, depression, anxiety and physical pain.
Before massage, learn about your Prakriti. Massage oil will be carefully blended to meet your body type, to bring about balance to your body, mind and consciousness. A list of special nutritious food and herbs according to your Prakriti will be available to you, as a guideline to optimum health.
Treatment consists of a dry lymphatic skin brushing with either a silk or wool glove. This enhances circulation and exfoliation of the skin, so that the subsequent warm herbal oil massage can be absorbed through the pores for relaxation and detoxification.
Marma Massage - Acupressure Points
Marma points are positions on the body where flesh, veins, arteries, tendon, bones and joints meet. They may be also described as junctions where constitution of the body meets (Vayu, Pitta and Kapha). These points are also where the three aspects of realization meet, i.e. the inner self, outer world and the intersection of the two; and junctions between the physical, astral and causal bodies. Marma points are of great importance to a persons body, mind and spirit, as these are the points where the spirit hinges the body. Thus healing through Marma Abhayanga affects the chakra, physical health and doshas.

This process prepares the body to easily eliminate the toxins during Panchakarama. During panchakaram, warm herbal oil massage and several therapies are given 1-3 days according to your dosha. Each massage session is followed by 30min steam which helps looses up the deep rooted mucus and toxins and moves it towards the gastro-intestinal tract for elimination. After the elimination and during the rejuvenation process, a simple Ayurvedic meal is provided to help restore balance and harmony within the body & mind.
