Ayurveda
Ayurveda is the ancient "Science of Life", one of the oldest forms of health care in the world. It is Holistic Science that places great emphasis on prevention and aims at bringing about maintaining Harmony of the Body, Mind and Consciousness. One of the most unique aspects of Ayurveda is its Cleaning and Rejuvenating treatment, according to the Prakriti (constitution of the body / mind) of each individual as a whole.
Abhyanga
Individually prepared herbal massage oil to relax the mind, break up impurities, and stimulate both the arterial and lymphatic circulation. It enhances the ability of nutrients to reach starved cells and allows removal of stagnant waste and reduces edema.
Basti Treatments
Basti in Ayurveda is said to be among one of the main therapies. In Sanskrit Basti means container or dam. These treatments introduce freshly prepared herbal decoctions or medicated oils retained in a dam or reservoir made out of dough from herbal powders to areas of the body aimed to achieve a therapeutic goal and physical harmony. Our bodies need to be relieved of toxins to take the psycho-somatic bodily processes to their original natural state. Basti treatments are part of this detoxification process achieved by cleaning and decongesting circulatory channels that carry waste out of the body and maintain muscular skeletal tissues so they can remain flexible.
Kati Basti
Kati Basti is a specialized therapy that relieves and nourishes the lower back by pouring specially prepared warm herbal oils or ghee over the spine of the lower back and retained inside a dam. This soothing experience helps melt lower spine rigidity, strengthen bone tissue, increase circulation in the region, relieve pain and soreness of the area, relieve painful muscle spasms, relieve degenerative problems, and restores flexibility. In addition, the medicated oil that is deeply absorbed into the skin has unique therapeutic effects that both nourish and strengthens the muscles and nerves.
Greeva Basti
Greeva Basti is a procedure in which warm herbal oils or medicated oil is used to bathe the back of the neck region. This procedure is very useful in maintaining the normal working structure of the neck region. It also improves flexibility and smooth movement of the neck region, improves circulation in the area, aides in relieving vertigo, tingling or numbness of the hands, compression fractures, chronic pain of the neck and upper spine, frozen shoulder syndrome, headaches, tension in the neck, and the burden of stress and congestion in nerves, bones and muscles of neck and shoulders and thus relaxing and rejuvenating them.
Hridaya Basti
Hridaya Basti therapy helps in providing relief to the chest by pouring warm medicated oils or herbal decoctions to the chest. This application helps aid in strengthening heart muscles and connective tissues, and benefits muscles and rigidity of the chest wall. Hridaya Basti improves heart functionality, strengthens and balances heart rate, improves the lungs functions, reduces anxiety, nervousness, and helps to lower blood pressure.
Nabi Basti
Nabi Basti supports the navel and helps to balance the Nabi Marma – the vital center where all the nadies (subtle energy pathways) carrying life energy converge. The navel is also the seat of the 3rd chakra that influences will power and individual ego. In this deeply profound treatment warm herbal oil or medicated oil is placed over the navel area. Nabi Basti is tremendously soothing to the entire physiology, while the oil pulls out negative energy, physical toxins, and balances all the doshas. On the physical level, this treatment strengthens the power of digestion and absorption by relieving digestive symptoms such as irritable bowel, flatulence, poor appetite, constipation, and abdominal discomfort.
Netra Basti
Netra Basti means to “bathe the eyes” and is a restorative and preventative Ayurvedic treatment for the eyes. Medicated oil is used to release the inner tensions trapped in and around the eyes and their sockets and soothes dry wrinkles. Our eyes are always stressed out leading to general headaches, overall stress, and early aging of eye tissues. Netra Basti can reduce tension and migraine headaches, soothes dry, itchy eyes, provides relief from some allergies, improves vision, relieves eye strain, eases wrinkles and dark circles around the eyes, eases stress lines and puffiness, enhances depth and color perception, slows the natural degeneration of the eyes, and brings back your eyes’ natural luster.
Chakra Healing and Balancing
Chakras are junction points between consciousness and physiology. These energy centers govern the emotional and physical functions of the body. This gentle yet powerful treatment helps get grounded and reconnects with the healing energy from the earth and the cosmic / universe. This balancing increases relaxation and energy while reducing mental stress, emotional imbalance, depression, anxiety and physical pain.
Consultation
Before massage, learn about your Prakriti. Massage oil will be carefully blended to meet your body type, to bring about balance to your body, mind and consciousness. A list of special nutritious food and herbs according to your Prakriti will be available to you, as a guideline to optimum health.
Ear Candling
This simple and time-proven therapy is an ancient, natural, and simple way to clean wax and other debris from the ear and to relieve pressure. This soothing and relaxing treatment involves the use of a special conical slow-burning candle that is custom designed form natural fibers and tapered to precise specifications, being placed gently into the ear canal. The ear candle, once lit, creates a vacuum that draws ear wax and other debris from deep inside the ear. The accumulations withdrawn may be many months or even years old. Ear candling can assist with sinus problems, excess ear wax, headaches, ringing in the ear, hearing problems, and balance problems.
Garshana
Treatment consists of a dry lymphatic skin brushing with either a silk or wool glove. This enhances circulation and exfoliation of the skin, so that the subsequent warm herbal oil massage can be absorbed through the pores for relaxation and detoxification.
Karna Purina
Karna Purina is a mild and natural ear therapy that is implemented by pouring warm oil or medicated liquid into the ears which aids in healing ear problems and regenerates the necessary moisture and products that have a beneficial effect on the ear canal. Delicate fibers from the ear are lubricated, separating the impurities and sharpening hearing. You will have a feeling of deep rest and relaxation, and the therapy facilitates the flow of energy through the head. This treatment is beneficial for ear aches, excessive earwax, ear infections, ringing in the ears, improves hearing and strengthens the bones in the ear, headaches and dizziness, neck pain, jaw pain, insomnia, anxiety or worry, and calms the mind.
Marma Massage - Acupressure Points
Marma points are positions on the body where flesh, veins, arteries, tendon, bones and joints meet. They may be also described as junctions where constitution of the body meets (Vayu, Pitta and Kapha). These points are also where the three aspects of realization meet, i.e. the inner self, outer world and the intersection of the two; and junctions between the physical, astral and causal bodies. Marma points are of great importance to a persons body, mind and spirit, as these are the points where the spirit hinges the body. Thus healing through Marma Abhayanga affects the chakra, physical health and doshas.
Nasya
Nasya is a sinus treatment that opens and clears the breathing channels of the sense organs of the head. Toxins that are accumulated in the head and neck are expelled through the nose and mouth along with nasal and oral secretions. Herbal liquid preparations or medicated oils are administered by drops into the nose which cleanse, purify, and strengthen the nasal passages, allowing for deeper breathing and a sense of clarity and relaxation. As a preparatory procedure the head and face are massaged with medicated oil and an aromatic warm towel compress is applied to melt away tension in the face and to open the sinuses. Great relief for allergies, sinusitis, migraine headaches, congestion, nasal infection, and frequent colds.
Panchakarama
First we must prepare the body by eating meals according to your dosha; and incorporating suggested herbs, oils or ghee, for 5-7 day. This process prepares the body to easily eliminate the toxins during Panchakarama. During panchakaram, warm herbal oil massage and several therapies are given 1-3 days according to your dosha. Each massage session is followed by 30min steam which helps looses up the deep rooted mucus and toxins and moves it towards the gastro-intestinal tract for elimination. After the elimination and during the rejuvenation process, a simple Ayurvedic meal is provided to help restore balance and harmony within the body & mind.
Pinda Swedna
Pinda Swedna is a process of inducing perspiration of the whole body by applying heat externally with a heated pack of specific fresh herbal leaves tied in a cloth bag. This produces profound rejuvenation for the neuromuscular system and enhances circulation, improves muscle tone, strengthens the nervous system, nourishes the body and increases immunity, reduces pain and stiffness, endows sound sleep, gives softness to the body by improving the health of the skin, and restores vitality to the entire body.

Reiki is a combination of two Japanese words rei and ki meaning “universal life energy.” Reiki is a spiritual practice and is an ancient laying-on of hands healing technique that uses the life force energy to heal, and balance subtle energies within our bodies. Through the use of this technique, the practitioner serves as a vessel for healing energies and transfers universal energy in the form of qi through the palms, which allows for self-healing and a state of equilibrium. Reiki addresses physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual imbalances.
Shiro + Pada Abhyanga
Herbal Ayurvedic head, neck, shoulder, facial and foot massage and reflexology to promote blood and lymphatic circulation. This process increases mental clarity, balance, clears sinus passages, and relieves head and shoulder pain associated with all types of stress.
Shirodhara
Gentle and methodically pouring of warm herbal oil over the forehead (third-eye), synchronizing brain waves, creating balance and stability in the body, mind and consciousness. This profound treatment nourishes the nervous system, bringing about deep relaxation, mental clarity, release mental stress and fatigue, headaches and mind-body coordination. Shirodhara taps into the inner "pharmacy" and is a natural way of accessing melatonin. It also stimulates the brain producing dopamine and seratonin ("happy hormones"), in addition to promoting healing and fine-tuning the immune system. Shirodhara tells the body to expel the disease/toxins from itself.
Udwarthanam
